The name Anne-Marie's Originals, is a guarantee that items carrying this label are not just unique, but also were handmade by Anne-Marie, to her tyrannically perfectionist standards.

Who is Anne Marie? I was born and raised in the USA, in amongst the Great Lakes, in the state of Michigan. My home town was an obscure place called Brighton that is in the greater Detroit area.

Being and American who is the product of a German father and Danish mother, I was compelled to add to our family's global identity and married a South African. Little wonder that I have a rather curious accent.

When children arrived, I turned my long-time hobby of sewing into a full-time exercise keeping three young boys clothed. Of course, there came the time (as it will in every young man's life) when it was uncool to be dressed by Mom and I then had to channel my productive hyperactivity into some sustainable small enterprise.

I invested in the best available industrial equipment and although I am able to sew virtually anything, I have concentrated on fashionable all-purpose handbags, jewellery and cushions. I now have a range of products to suit many tastes and occasions. My stall is always filed with many choices.

I am passionate about quality materials, fabrics, crafting and being part of the craft market scene. I especially enjoy the opportunity to exercise my German to maintain its fluency. I look forward to seeing you at my stall at the Country Craft Market.
