Noël en Afrique began aptly enough as a creative outlet for Christmas decorations, inspired by the beadwork of Africa with a European twist.
Our hobby has since grown to encompass beaded table decorations, bookmarks and worry beads.
Our most popular items include tablecloth weights, napkin rings and wine glass icons.
Our Christmas decorations remain firm favourites at the end of the year - with many being sent overseas as Christmas gifts from Africa.
Our collection reflects our varied customer base - from locals to SA visitors and those visiting from overseas - and we have often responded to style trends and customer requests.
For us, market-day is a wonderful opportunity to meet crafters, interact with new customers and establish enduring relationships.
All our creations use natural materials as far as possible - glass, metal, natural paper packaging and wood. Its incredibly rewarding to use great materials as an outlet for our creativity and to keep crafting alive!
