I specialise in pit-fired ceramic creations that with their rich, soft colours and textures, are reminiscent of cosmic fire.

This firing technique offers me much creative freedom as it has a special element of unpredictability. And it is this very element that produces many surprises that are stimulating and exciting.

Each and every serendipitous gift that emerges after a wood firing process is completely unique, with it own special characteristics.

Still, the potter is not without some influence on the result and I am constantly experimenting so as to discover new and fascinating effects that keep extending my art form.
