I was born in Germany and trained there as a graphic designer before immigrating to Cape Town. I initially designed book covers for various publishers but later progressed to Fabric Art and worked in a studio for a textile design company.

After having a family I kept up my fabric art and it has been 12 years now that I have exhibited at the Country Craft Market. Here I market hand painted cloth that is used mainly for table cloths, wall hangings or blinds.

I paint with colourfast textile paints and will paint to special sizes, designs or colours on request.

My work is very therapeutic and enjoyable and it is stimulating to have personal contact with my customers.
