I discovered my love for painting on fabric in 1994 and gradually developed my own distinctive style to transform pieces of plain white cotton into functional pieces of art.

I use various painting techniques and combine precise outline drawing with brush & roller painting, including some stenciling. I make all stencils and elements pertaining to my designs myself, and mix all my colours from the primary colours, ensuring a completely unique end product. The use of industrial screen printing ink as 'paint' and proper heat setting before careful sewing, ensures that each product is washable and durable. From beginning to end, each item is lovingly hand-crafted and made up.

Brighten up any kitchen with Flights of Fancy potholders, oven gloves & tea towels or make each meal a visual experience with gorgeous place mats and napkins. My guest towels also make wonderful gifts.

I concentrate mainly locally flavoured South African designs because they are so easy for travelers to pack in their luggage as mementos. Also, I am very fortunate to live in the picturesque Cape Town, where inspiration can strike around every corner, meaning I often design new ranges.
