Driftwood carving by Boniface Chikwenhere





Boniface is an artist with a growing reputation. Through eyes of abstraction, Boniface seen in driftwood, all manner of forms that bring dead wood to life and captivate the viewer who sees in these works, their own experiences and memories of man and nature. Boniface's sculptures are finding homes far and wide and those who appreciate his work keep adding to their collections.





When you visit the Country Craft Market on 23 February, make sure to stop at his stall to see him at work. It might be your sculpture that he is working on - see Boniface's offer below.











On Saturday 23 February, Boniface will be demonstrating his driftwood sculpting skills as he converts rough driftwood into worthy pieces of art.






Bird forms are a popular theme, and the driftwood bird collection captures the essence of birds in nature.
