I make country-styled needlework gifts, including candle-wicked items.

I have been doing needlework since I was 17 years of age. Fourteen years ago I began to take my work to craft markets and have been doing so ever since.

During that time I have produced a wide variety of useful items for the home. To add beauty to their utility, I decorate some items with hand painted designs using fabric paint. Some items are also decorated with candle-wicking.

With the legislation we have regarding plastic shopping bags, my hand-painted shoppers are very useful and stylish.

When it is time to put your feet up after a hard day, try my neck-cushions and slippers to help to pamper you.

Other things like place mats help beautify the table for dinner, while my dustbin covers tidy up these necessities in the home.

New items include nifty mini-bag tidies, a little bag that attaches to the belt and can be used to stash away those necessities.

I have also introduced wine carriers made from a tightly woven hessian decorated with interesting designs.
